Introduction. The modern trend towards creating a global bioeconomic system caused by the need to overcome accumulated environmental, economic and social problems determines the requirement for integrating information on forest wood resources at the logging stage into the overall accounting and reporting picture of economic activity formed in the digital space for effective management at all levels. Purpose of the study. The purpose of the study is to identify areas of digitalization and digital transformation of logging activities as a basic (resource) part of the forest bioeconomy, which serves as a support in building the entire bioeconomy system, promising for creating transparent data on the process and results of using and restoring forest wood biological resources. Methods. Achieving a systemic and comprehensive result in the work carried out in the study of both bioeconomic features and the possibilities of digital changes in logging in the double-process format required the use of methods of logical analysis, generalization, systematization, structuring and comparison. Results. The logic of the findings indicates that in order to improve the efficiency of logging management as part of the forest bioeconomy, directly interacting with biological wood resources that require effective management based on sustainability principles, it is advisable to simultaneously work on creating digital solutions such as an ERP system (organization level), a digital platform (forest sector level) and an end-to-end information system for the state and business. Conclusions. The implementation of the proposed areas will create a transparent and controlled digital environment for the logging sector of bioeconomic activity.
